Yarn Along~
Is it really Wednesday? I've been working through edits for my ebook, knitting on some pretty tight deadlines, and just the general, being a homeschooling momma of many things that seem to happen every week.....reading, playing, cooking, baking. All the things.
I managed to get a bit knit on this design because we had quite a lot of errands to run on Saturday. And then I forgot my sock knitting at home on Sunday, so I got in an extra day of knitting on this one. It isn't quite as mindless as a sock for me, but at this point it's soothing and I can knit the stitches without having to decipher what comes next, so that works for me!
I picked up this James Patterson book when it was on sale as a Kindle Daily Deal. I guess that I had forgotten about it until I was looking for something new to read and I noticed this one on my shelf. It's an easy read, so it was nice to have something while I was working last night while the boys were all at Cub Scouts with their dad. It seems to be a typical James Patterson book and a normal Detective Michael Bennet story. I generally go for the Woman's Murder Club or Dr. Alex Cross, but Detective Bennet is just as likable!
How was your week? I'd love for you to share what you are reading and knitting!
