About

Once upon a time, I had a little boy that had to wear cloth diapers. At the time, my family couldn’t afford the fancy wool pants to go over the cloth diapers, but I did have a coupon and a gift card to a local craft store. With that first ball of yarn and set of needles, a new adventure was born. I haven’t put down the yarn since, and after tinkering with enough knits to make them “my way”, I decided to give pattern writing a try, and guess what, I LOVED it! Nothing is quite as satisfying as watching a story, an emotion, or even a movie that moved my soul come to life through string and just a bit of math. I love seeing what knitters have made from my patterns and nothing makes me feel quite as content as it does when they gift the finished product to a loved one. I just feel so honored to have a tiny role in that process!

Jessica likes to design fun and quirky knitting patterns that are easy to finish. She enjoys being home with her 5 children and her supportive husband, three cats, and coffee. Lots of coffee. She is a knitting teacher, business coach, as well as the founder and CEO of Yarn Confidential. Jessica strives to make everything possible even the impossible!
