I am really wishing for a vacation about now, doesn't that sound nice? Instead I've got quite a pile of knitting to get through and the days to get through it keep shrinking.....slowly, slowly, stitch by stitch it is getting finished! I just really have to stay focused for about 1 more week and then I just might take that vacation! I'm knitting away on a top secret deadline knitting project that I can't share with you, but I'm also trying to finish up the last piece of my Fall Collection, one of which is peeking out in this photo. I picked up the Penguin on Vacation while out shopping the other day. This is the same Penguin from Penguin in Love, one of my littles (and mine!) favorite books- a knitting penguin at that (to which my preschooler likes to point out to me that the penguin is a myth, because penguins really can't knit, to which I admire her ability to listen and follow along with her older siblings school lessons and realize that all those months of listening to Homer and Aesop's Fables at the lunch table really wasn't that bad.....). We are enjoying our new Penguin story just as much as the other one and have read it several times today already, which is about all I can manage with work right now. And oh how I love this YarnPop bag- it has the cutest giraffes, and is a nice roomy knapsack style bag. I absolutely adore this bag, and you would honestly be surprised at the amount of yarn that is in this thing, along with my design notebook. Well, I better run, there is a game of Old MacDonald getting just a bit out of hand.....be back again soon!
